Saw on your blog that they were going to check Liam for Neurofibermatosis?  Did you do the blood work?  does he have signs? 

My dh has it in his family and he has it- and all our children, the dr always wants us to do genetic testing but really it doesn't help them other than know what stage they have..

    Not nosy at all!  We ended up not having the blood work done.  There was only one specialist who felt that it may be necessary.  The other 4 (or is it 5 now?) didn't think he needed it.

    One of the neuro-oncologists actually spoke with the NF specialists and they also agreed it wasn't necessary.  I was ok with not doing the blood work since DS only has one cafe ole spot and we have no family hx of it. 

    edit: What kind of symptoms does your husband have at this point?  (now I'm just being nosy!)

    My husband has some of the fibroids, and has some of the cafe ole spots.
    His sister have the deformities. One sister has two uterus' / one has a split uterus.
    One had To have a hysterectomy as its so bad.
    My 2/4 kids have cage ole spots. Dd the most.
