Fell down the stairs.

Yep.
We have a gate in front of the 12 stairs that lead to the basement. I always close it. R left while G was napping and came up from the basement to do so.
SO and I think he's playing with the cat by the patio window. We're mixing this mold for this stepping stone for my mom. We hear a thump, thump, thump. It's G tumbling down the 12 stairs, landing on his face on the concrete at the bottom.
So, we're on our way to the hospital. He's over it for the most part, but is pretty whiny and has huge marks on his forehead. SO is pissed. He had just gotten home. MOTY here.

If it makes you feel better my son broke glass today when he pulled a pitcher out of the cabinet on him. Only a small cut on his foot!

I am so sorry. I know exactly how you feel right now - you are a wonderful mother. He will be OK. Huge hugs!
and to make you feel better, B fell off the bed moments before we had to leave SC - that was fun. Also, remember when I left the stroller unattended for a moment and it rolled into a concrete wall/bushes? Yep. We all have our moments.

Don't feel bad this happens to everyone at some point. My DD1 2 both had broken a leg by the time they were two. Freak happenings are the worst.
