I am in the process of finally ordering my CDs for LO. I am a FTM and I am having a girl. We do plan to have more kids after this one and we plan to CD all of our kids. My question is with picking out colors, how much of my stash should be be gender neutral vs gender specific. I know I will need to buy extra diapers when the time comes but I want to get the most out of my stash. Any BTDT moms have advice?

Re: picking colors for fluff
IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
beta #2 11/28 = 2055
Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
I guess it depends on what you consider gender neutral. I think overall, my stash is pretty GN, but IMO, most GN things lean toward "boyish". The only real "boy" diapers I have are a blue/brown plaid and robots. But girls can play with robots...just ask my niece.
If you're going to use your stash for multiple children, the only thing I'd stay away from would be frilly and pink. (But if I was CDing a girl, I'd want at least a few of those, anyway!)
DS's favorite diaper was a pink one that we got in a lot of used diapers. I didn't really plan on putting it on him at first, but there was one night I was desperate and it was the only diaper I had that was clean. DH was suprisingly OK with it. I then started using at home and at night occasionally, but DS picked that particular one out quite often.
For the most part, the only diapers I don't thing are really GN are girly diapers )usually pink or purple) so I would say maybe 25% girly 75% everything else? You can always sell or trade your girly diapers if you end up having a boy next time.
I would say about half of my stash is girly and the other half are GN. When I first started out CD'ing DD1, I only bought GN diapers. I was really strict with myself and only had 2 girl diapers. I didn't want to have to buy more diapers when we had a 2nd.
Well after having another girl, I figured that I have saved tons by buying CD's over disposables in the first place, so why not buy some super girly diapers! People go crazy over girls clothes and we didn't. We used all hand me downs.
We will most likely have a 3rd. If it's a boy I will sell the really girly ones. Some of my most recent purchases have been some more expensive fitteds for over night and they are girly. They have really good resale value though. I won't be out much at all. Then I will get to have fun buying some cool boy ones.

Seriously though, 2 girls now and I have always went with GN, always keeping th future in mind...this baby#3 is another baby girl, I will forever more be purchasing all the girly diapers I want!
This. I'm a FTM as well & I've been buying an assortment of colors/patterns that I like. If I have a boy next time, he'll use the CDs I bought this time even if they have pink ponies on them or blue cars. I don't see the big deal in a girl wearing cars or a boy wearing ponies.
As I told my husband, if the Hulk can wear purple, so can our son
Purple is totally GN. Most of my sons dipes are purple and green. DH's and I's favorite colors.
I could have saved more money buying gender neutral but I love dd in her pink and purple.

I didn't CD my DD but if I had, I'm sure I would have been all over the cute girly ones, with some GN thrown in. This baby is a boy, and probably our last, so I'll probably go for the boy stuff. However, I do think it's easier - with anything - to put a girl in boy stuff than a boy in girl stuff.
ETA:In your case, I would try to do mostly gender neutral. I just personally can't resist girly stuff.
. But all my big stuff (high chair, exersaucer, stroller, etc) is all GN and I'm glad I did that since I'm having a boy this time.
I think more boy diapers can be gn, whereas some people might raise a fit if you put a boy in pink/ruffley stuff.
I also don't do the boy/girl colors/patterns thing. Colors don't have sexes, just gender associations that society places on them. I've been more aware of this since taking a gender studies class a few semesters ago so I've been more actively avoiding it and trying to teach my kids from the start that they don't have to follow those gender roles. So we have a little of everything. My daughter constantly asks for the blue and green diapers, and loves dinosaurs so she wears those often. Our son can't even roll over yet, so he has no verbal preference.
You can always resale.
Personally, I'd buy all the dipes
But seriously, about 75% GN, 25% other would probably work.
