What kind of paper do you recommend for printing out your DIY invites? Would it be easier to send the file to a place that can print them out? I do not have a printer at home so I'm trying to figure out where to have them printed.

I can tell you that I've done mine at FedEx/Kinko's. You just save it on a jump drive and they have copiers there you can plug it into.
I usually print on card stock. But before I go, I arrange it so that I can do 2 per page. So each invite would be 8.5x5.5 (cause paper is usually 8.5x11) Does that make sense? If you want to email it to me and I can arrange it for you. Up to you! Just throwing it out there. I promise not to come stalk you wherever you live.
ETA: That usually means you have to cut them yourself, but they also have one of those industrial paper cutters and you can do a couple pages at a time. Of course you can also just size it so that you don't have to cut it yourself, but for me its cheaper to do it the other way.
