What is a TROLL???? lol

I have seen this mentioned a couple of times already, I guess I'm old and not in the loop.   Please tell me what is a troll?  When it has been mentioned it seemed like a BAD thing, so I would like to know so that I can stay away from it.   Sincerely Rose

    It's someone who comes onto a message board and posts something intentionally inflammatory, just to stir up trouble. And usually comes back to answer again and again to stoke the fires.

    Often people will recognize the troll as someone who's posted before, or who's there just to keep people pissed off, so they'll tell folks not to answer. Otherwise known as "don't feed the troll"

    OHHH    okay, Thank you!!!!   I'm glad to hear that it is not some kind of tracker or virus. I was so worried to read anything or look at anything else once I read the troll thing a couple of times....... lol     I feel so OLD  hahahaha    Thanks again Sincerely Rose
