Does anyone have this and love it? I'd love to hear pros/cons. My sisters recommended a different one but the fact that this one detects when the baby stops breathing is pretty enticing.
We have a snuza and love it! I really like that it is portable so when we go out of town we can take it with us. It really put my mind at ease, we actually just stopped using it a few days ago.

I would check out the snuza, especially if DC will spend time sleeping in your room. A few years ago there was a crazy story on here of a bumpy who credited the snuza with saving their dc's life. For what it is worth, I got a snuza and never used it. Dd had other serious health concerns so we slept on her nursery floor for a couple weeks then when we got out of danger she slept in our room until we were nearly past the risk zone for SIDS. I never felt like I needed it.
Sooooo I have both a snuza and an angel care (long story couldn't return either one and so I kept them) and here is my two cents.
Snuza ROCKED for the first bit - she ended up in the rock n play (despite my efforts to not do it - she slept like a dream in it) and the angel care would not have worked there. We used it until about 5 months - through the transition to the pack and play.. when she started sleeping on her stomach it became hard to position right so we switched to the angel care. Many others continue to use the snuza when they are stomach sleepers we just struggled and since we had the other...
In the early months it was "sort of" a pain to unclip and re clip at diaper changes.. but minmal. WE ended up co sleeping more then we thought and when she was cuddled up with us we found it would slip off her diaper and alarm. That was a bigger pain as it was winter and she had a onsie and sleeper on - I just got really good at turning it off through her clothes before cuddling.
The angel care we love - but the biggest downside is - it doesn't work in the swing, bouncer, rock and play, etc. We did use it in the pack and play - you just need a solid base under it - we actually use a wood shelf with the sensor pad on top (still do in her crib). One thing I like about the angel care that Ididn't think I'd care about was the tempature gauge for her room. If I were to get a sound only I'd want that. (never thought I would)
