So I mentioned yesterday I was feeling sick. I was coaching last night and I kept feeling worse and worse. Finally I decided to go home, and as I was walking out I passed out. I woke up to 10 parents surrounding me and they ended up taking me out in a stretcher. My swimmers were crying and then everyone started clapping. It was very embarrassing. So I have been on Iv fluids in the hospital for dehydration and they are running lots of tests. I had a spinal tap but luckily they found I don't have meningitis. My fever is still high and I have a horrible pain in my neck. I got bit by a tick a few weeks ago so they are considering Lyme disease. They are taking me in for a ct scan soon. I miss my baby and I hate pumping here some of the nurses were not nice about it. Anyway I'm scared to see what the results are and I just want to go home. Thanks for reading if you got this far.

Keep us updated!
If a nurse gives you shitt for feeding your child, you pull another nurse aside and ask for a different one. Do NOT be afraid to do this. There are plenty of other nurses who would give you the support you need. Don't allow yourself to be treated like shitt by people who are supposed to be caring for you.
I hope everything is alright and that you feel better soon!
SCANDAL!
I am so sorry this is happening! I was in the hospital unexpectedly about two weeks ago, so I understand missing your baby and the pain of pumping.
I did ask the LC to come see me while I was there and she checked on all the meds I had had to see if they were BF safe (the nurses on my floor had no clue and the CT tech gave me incorrect info). That was super helpful, so I definitely second Scout's suggestion to ask for an LC.
Praying for a quick recovery and being reunited with that baby very soon!
