Teeth Visible in Gums

My 5-month old suddenly has 4 tooth outlines clearly visible from the front of her gums.  It looks very odd!  Is this how they normally look?  How long does it typically take for them to break through the gumline once they appear like this?

Re: Teeth Visible in Gums

  • My son has a corner of a tooth that you can feel a sharp point, and then it swells of. This has been going on for a week. It can definatly take awhile.

  • DS has this too...I've noticed them for a few weeks already....it would be nice if they came in but I know teething can be a looooong process.
