1) List 3 of the best birthday presents you ever received
2) How many times have you been a bridesmaid? A maid of honor? What was your favorite bridesmaid's dress like?
3) 2 Guinea Pigs are out looking for a new house. "Snickers" thinks living in the city could be great, with its easy accessibility to the library, grocery store, shops and cafes. Everything's so walk-able but she's worried about feeling cramped for space and having neighbors too close, also the schools are ok through elementary but then it gets a little iffy. "Han Solo" thinks that country living would be great, with a bigger house and acreage, great schools, room for outbuildings and plenty of space for their hobbies (modern dance and vintage motorcycles) but he digs independent coffee shops and can't abide the Applebees and chain restaurants nearby. They've got a litter of Guinea piglets on the way. How would you advise them? Regardless of what they choose to do, what would you do?
4) For US peeps - On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most), how patriotic are you? For other country peeps, same thing but of course for you own country?
5) Twizzlers or Red Vines? Starbursts or Jolly Ranchers? Dove Ice Cream bars or Haagen Daas? Starbucks or (Caribou/Peets/Other major regional coffee chain)?

Re: Random Poll Tuesday: Everybody can play!!!
1) I suck at remembering birthday presents. Christmas presents I remember much better.
2) bridesmaid 1x and maid of honor 2x. thank god i have no friends. i couldn't afford it.
3) guinea pigs should live in the country, no questions asked. city exterminators would probably think they were rats. i myself vote for the suburbs.
4) i go between a -5 and a +3. I am horribly ignorant with any type of US history, but I have tons of military friends and see how hard they work and what a hard life it is. i also like hot dogs and apple pie which should make up for not knowing any history.
5) yuck. yuck. dove ice cream bars. i stopped all coffee (even decaf) with this last IVF. but I would kill for a dunkin donuts light and sweet right now.
6) Again, I go back to the not very patriotic. I look up from my back yard, see fireworks, and then go to bed. However, if they are just everyday no holiday fireworks which tends to happen in my town a lot, I wish they burn their hand off and then go call the cops to complain.
1) List 3 of the best birthday presents you ever received
1. My Meggie (yellow lab), 2. A really nice hybrid bike (I love to leisure ride), 3. An awesome date with DH who planned every ounce of the day.
2) How many times have you been a bridesmaid? A maid of honor? What was your favorite bridesmaid's dress like?
Maid- 1 (she eloped and brought me with her, thank God) and bridesmaid- 2. Favorite dress was a purple one shoulder knee length dress...it looked good on all body types.
3) Wowza. HA! I'm a country gal, so I always vote country.
4) For US peeps - On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most), how patriotic are you? For other country peeps, same thing but of course for you own country?
I'd say a 7. The men in my family all served and in turn we respect this country with all our being.
5) Twizzlers or Red Vines? Starbursts or Jolly Ranchers? Dove Ice Cream bars or Haagen Daas? Starbucks or (Caribou/Peets/Other major regional coffee chain)?
Twizzlers, Starbursts, any icecream makes me happy as long as it doesn't contain nuts...why people ruin yummy icecream with nuts baffles me and not really a coffee gal, but I prefer vanilla skinny lattes from Starbucks.
BONUS 6!!!) Essay: Explain your most memorable fireworks experience.
I'm not really a huge fireworks fan but I love me some sparklers. DH picks me up some every year and we dance around the yard with them. It's our tradition.
Me- 32, DH- 32- TTC for 4 Years

Fun questions!
1) List 3 of the best birthday presents you ever received
Hmm I am also not good at remembering birthday presents. I do love going to our local apple orchard to pick apples on my birthday and eat cider donuts because it is in the fall.
2) How many times have you been a bridesmaid? A maid of honor? What was your favorite bridesmaid's dress like?
Bridesmaid=2, Maid of Honor=2. Favorite bridesmaid dress was purple, long and had straps so I could wear a normal bra
3) I love the country! I have always wanted a farm with billy goats and sheep.
4) For US peeps - On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most), how patriotic are you? For other country peeps, same thing but of course for you own country?
I would say 6, I enjoy wearing my red, white and blue and going to parades and fireworks, but I don't get really jazzed up over it.
5) Twizzlers or Red Vines? Starbursts or Jolly Ranchers? Dove Ice Cream bars or Haagen Daas? Starbucks or (Caribou/Peets/Other major regional coffee chain)?
Twizzlers, jolly ranchers and Haagen Daas. I like the iced coffees from starbucks and the hot coffees from Dunks!
BONUS 6!!!) Essay: Explain your most memorable fireworks experience.
For a number of years we would visit friends on cape cod and walk to the beach to watch the fireworks. We would always bring some sort of alcoholic beverage and a blanket and lay down to enjoy the show!

1) List 3 of the best birthday presents you ever received
A lab puppy, special necklace from my husband, and a nice espresso machine.
2) How many times have you been a bridesmaid? A maid of honor? What was your favorite bridesmaid's dress like?
5 times a bridesmaid . . . favorite dress was probably a simple navy floor length dress.
3)A whole litter on the way? To the suburbs they go!
If it were me, I'd find somewhere that still had a good neighborhood feel that wasn't all box stores and cookie-cutter houses.
4) For US peeps - On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most), how patriotic are you? For other country peeps, same thing but of course for you own country?
Maybe a 4? My patriotism has seriously declined in the last few years due to partisan politics.
5) Twizzlers or Red Vines? Starbursts or Jolly Ranchers? Dove Ice Cream bars or Haagen Daas? Starbucks or (Caribou/Peets/Other major regional coffee chain)?
Twizzlers. Starbursts (but none of the pink ones). I'm allergic to dairy, so not sure I've had either of the ice cream options? As for coffee, I try to avoid all chains and scope at the better coffee at local shops.
3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5

1) List 3 of the best birthday presents you ever received
Horse, a car, sapphire ring
2) How many times have you been a bridesmaid? A maid of honor? What was your favorite bridesmaid's dress like?
Never because I think it's a huge waste of $
3) 2 Guinea Pigs are out looking for a new house. "Snickers" thinks living in the city could be great, with its easy accessibility to the library, grocery store, shops and cafes. They've got a litter of Guinea piglets on the way. How would you advise them? Regardless of what they choose to do, what would you do?
Country Living for the guinea pigs, Han solo can go in town for coffee if the mood arises.
I would go to the country because changing schools and private school are ridiculous to me when you pay taxes it should include good schools.
4) For US peeps - On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most), how patriotic are you? For other country peeps, same thing but of course for you own country?
7- I think we live in the best country in the world however you wont see a flag on my house.
5) Twizzlers or Red Vines? Twizzlers Starbursts or Jolly Ranchers?Jollys Dove Ice Cream bars or Haagen Daas? HAGEN DAAS is there any other icecream? Starbucks or (Caribou/Peets/Other major regional coffee chain)? independant with good beans
BONUS 6!!!) Essay: Explain your most memorable fireworks experience.
two years ago we paddled down the charles to the hatchshell we spent the entire night in a kayak and it was crazy on the river. The fireworks were exsquisite from that spot it was magical. On the way home we paddled like we were running from the mob because the bigger boats were threatening to topple us the whole time and we had to be back by 1am.

1) List 3 of the best birthday presents you ever received: Hmmmm....we're not big on b-day gifts and can't remember anything great from childhood other than a pink bike with pom-poms in the handlebars for my 6th birthday
2) How many times have you been a bridesmaid? A maid of honor? What was your favorite bridesmaid's dress like? Just once, MOH for my sister's wedding.
They've got a litter of Guinea piglets on the way. How would you advise them? Regardless of what they choose to do, what would you do? We live in the city now, but would love to live on an acerage some day....I'd say go for the space and privacy!
4) For US peeps - On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most), how patriotic are you? For other country peeps, same thing but of course for you own country? Probably not extremely patriotic, but the 4th is one of my favorite holidays
5) Twizzlers or Red Vines? Starbursts or Jolly Ranchers? Dove Ice Cream bars or Haagen Daas? Starbucks or (Caribou/Peets/Other major regional coffee chain)? Twizzlers, Starbursts, Haagen Daas. Not a huge Coffee fan, but I do (or did) indulge in the occasional Sbucks or Caribou

1) List 3 of the best birthday presents you ever received. Yikes, I'm bad at remembering things like this too. My birthday is right after Christmas, so I usually get the shaft because of that, haha. Last year DH got me an iPhone which I really wanted/needed. He often gets me a massage/facial spa day package thing too...always nice.
2) How many times have you been a bridesmaid? A maid of honor? What was your favorite bridesmaid's dress like? I've been a BM 6 times, one of which I was MOH. I'm in a wedding next Saturday actually (luckily the dress still fits and is forgiving!). Hmm, I'll have to say fav dress was when I was MOH. It was short, black, linen, pretty casual, flattering, and inexpensive. And I've worn it a lot since.
3) 2 Guinea Pigs are out looking for a new house. I'm a city girl, so I'd go with the city. Also because I feel connected to Snickers because my fam and I used to have a guinea pig named Butterfinger. I feel like Snickers might be his long lost brother!
4) For US peeps - On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most), how patriotic are you? For other country peeps, same thing but of course for you own country? Hmm, maybe about 5 or 6?
5) Twizzlers or Red Vines? Starbursts or Jolly Ranchers? Dove Ice Cream bars or Haagen Daas? Starbucks or (Caribou/Peets/Other major regional coffee chain)? Red Vines and Starbursts. Either ice cream, but don't often eat those. Not a coffee drinker other than a frappuccino or pumpkin latte a couple times a year, but I like Coffee Bean.
BONUS 6!!!) Essay: Explain your most memorable fireworks experience. Hmm, I'll have to say when we visited friends last year in San Francisco. We were there for the Golden Gate Bridge's 75th Anniversary. The fireworks show on/from the bridge was amazing!! And it was a fun day of celebration in general!
