Anyone else? Griffin has been cruising holding onto furniture for over 2 months now but he still does not stand by him self. I really wish he would walk because he craws so fast and has been crawling 3 months now.

You know Landen is no where near walking lol! We try standing him up and he pulls his knees up and laughs at us!

Austin is walking but if I was you I wouldn't rush it! They are craZy once they can walk, I can never sit down now. I'm sure he will get it soon!

Maleigh isn't even close. She holds onto furniture and cruises but she can't stand on her own at all. Not even close!

DS is cruising and walking if he holds onto my fingers or a toy. I'm not pushing it. I am in no hurry to have him off and running.

He can stand on his own, but he won't. He will for two seconds, then he'll realize he's doing it and lunge forward.

He's an excellent cruiser and he's been crawling for two months.

I'm not in a hurry for him to walk. He's hard enough to keep up with as it is.

DS just started cruising. I'll be surprised if he starts walking before his first birthday. I expect him to be closer to 14 months based on current developments.

Since we can no longer find shoes for DS's fat feet, I'm glad he isn't walking yet, lol! He sure likes to cruise though. He's just starting to stand on his own, but he doesn't realize he's doing it. As soon as he realizes he's not hanging on, he drops to his bum!

He can stand on his own for about 5 seconds, then he gets wiggly and falls. He can cruise around the furniture, pull himself up using the wall and walk holding on to the wall pretty well. I'm in no hurry for walking, I can barely keep up with him as it is!

MIL keeps making comments that "he's going to be behind like Jay was, and not walk until 14 months". That's not behind, lady, that's average!

Amir can speed crawl, cruise holding furniture but doesn't like walking while holding fingers. He will stand alone all the tune but hardly any steps. He had stepped alone but is like oh sh!!t then stops.

J was an early crawler, and has been cruising on things for months now, too. He won't stand by himself because he doesn't want to stand still. Therefore, he is nowhere close to walking. I get him to stand then he lunges at me.

My first didn't walk (and by walk I mean run) until 18 months and I was glad. B is no where near walking.

DD's stood up for a few seconds once or twice, and cruises the furniture or walks holding onto our fingers, but no interest in doing it herself yet.

This is exactly like my ds! Exactly! I am so ready for him to start walking, I know he will love it!

No! She's not even crawling. She's a ninja baby and gets from place to place with twisting lunging turning movements.
My first walked on her 1st birthday. DD2 can take her time!!

Scout2005:
DD didn't walk until she was 15 months. DS is currently content to crawl, he's not even pulling up. I'm glad, because ugh.
Believe me, don't be so eager. Walking is a whole new PITA ballgame. I hope DS waits.

This is us exactly. ODS didn't walk till after a year. I'm hoping Liam holds off a bit as well, lol!

I must be the odd STM out wanting my kid to walk early. DS didn't walk til 14.5 months, and it was such a pain. You can't put them down in stores/public, and playing outside in the driveway scuffs up their knees and stuff. DD has taken some steps, so we'll see. I hope she's really walking sooner than later.
