Who's a twat today (and for those that are one every day...)?

I have a few.

- My neighbor who lets her 10 year old walk close to a mile away to BK by himself.

- G's "godfather"/uncle who hasn't seen him since SO's graduation....in the beginning of May.

- The old man, who as I was trying to get into my car in the pouring ran yesterday, was waiting for my parking spot the entire time. I was parked in the back of the lot because there were no spaces. It's not like I had some VIP access. JUST GO GET ANOTHER ONE, OLD MAN!

A couple weeks ago at the grocery store, there was a car waiting in the aisle for someone who was still loading their groceries. And the car waiting was blocking the aisle for anyone trying to turn into it from the front of the parking lot. I honked at them and they moved like 2 feet. It was a close space, but still. You shouldn't block traffic for that long.

And twat might be a little strong, but I could not believe DH's grandma who was visiting yesterday. I was slicing grapes for DD (who is almost 3) and she took a grape from the bag. I assumed she was going to eat it. A minute later, DH says to her, "Did you just give DS a grape?" And sure enough, she had popped a whole grape in his mouth. She fished it out and he is fine, but sheesh. I am glad I didn't let her take both kids to the park by herself earlier in the day like she offered. Who knows what would have happened.

My baby's dad. After he moved to LA last week, he had me find a daycare right away and he would send me a check for the first two weeks. Here we are, Tuesday and I'm still asking him everyday where the money is. If I had the money, I'd pay it myself, but I don't get paid till the tenth, so now I just look like a jackass to this lady. Oh, and the cherry on top is that the reason he left when he did was so he could start his job right away. Now they need a certification that he can't find, so he doesn't know when he'll be starting. Seriously?

DH who knows nothing about how to change a fuse. He thought it would be a good idea to plug in one more space heater in the cottage and has now blown a fuse. Called his dad to walk him through how to fix the problem and is now fighting with him on how it's set up so poorly! Dude, you don't even know how to change a fuse, so I wouldn't be yelling at your dad about the whole system. TWAT!!

Thank goodness for our air conditioner! We have it set at 81 and it feels great because it is so hot outside.

DH's supervisor. We've had vacation planned this week for months. We're leaving later this afternoon. His supervisor waits until this morning to tell him that he was unable to grant his time off request for Friday. So, I'm on my own. Driving 5 hours to the beach by myself with the boys tonight. My parents and siblings will be there and I'm sure they'll help out some, but they're all on vacation too, you know? So much for a fun, relaxing vacation.

I am. I haven't returned my dad's call because I know he called to cancel his visit. My brother told me when he was supposed to let my dad break the news. I understand his reasoning, but I'm still disappointed. I was hoping to get passed the disappointment so I don't make him feel worse before I called.

EVERY SINGLE F*ing DRIVE ON MY ROAD...

Backstory: we live on a road parallel to the hospital, so people bypass the main road and fly down our road trying to get there quicker. I swear people drive like 50MPH down a neighborhood road that should be going 25. RIDICULOUS

i'll have to say me today. the dog stepped on my foot and i'm cranky with all this heat and I yelled at him. then DD was screaming when I put her down for a nap and I lost my cool and got heated with her too :-( drinking some ice tea and trying to relax. we're all hot and tired and didn't sleep well last night and I don't want to get angry at my DD for something she can't control. bad mommy!

A misogynistic yelper.

I went to yelp to read reviews of a trail I was thinking of running on today. I wanted to see if anyone would mention something about there being a lot of mosquitoes. I didn't see anything about mosquitoes, but I did read a review by some guy complaining about all the fat cows with their suv sized strollers who have such an entitlement mentality that they think it's their right to breastfeed their babies wherever they want alongside the trail. The only good thing was that this made him rate it so poorly that he said he'd never go back.

my friend and I got yelled at a few times when walking on the trails around here. two women with non/off road capable strollers verses one guy who could easily go around. I hate people like that!
