My poor princess got the rotavirus we found out 
.Its no fun... We are in fl, just back from airplane ride to az for family funeral and dr says this virus starts on the west coast and moves east, its from touching something and putting hand in mouth( I was so careful about her touching things too).. This is day 7, we went to dr on Friday day 4 and they basically said its a baby stomach virus ,nothing can be done. What was weird Saturday and sunday day 5-6 she was fine , tired and not 100% but fine then today back to throw up twice. some diarriaha diaper some days but not all, throw up once a day at least ,very tired and clingy. This is hard on a working mom that cant work from home. Im so ready for my baby girl to feel better. Hubby and I have both taken a day off work, I left early one day and looks like tomorrow ill be calling in again. Anyone else deal with this?

I don't know if baby can recontaminate themselves or not...but if I were in your shoes I would wash all of her toys down and use some Lysol/Clorox wipes on everything else that myself and DH might touch. Not sure if you have done this or not yet.
DS has not had this virus, but when he did get the first round of the vaccine he did end up having a touch of it. I just kept in touch with the pediatrician and they said as long as he was eating and taking in fluids that were mostly staying down that it just needed to be something that worked thru his system.

Thank you so much for the advise-yes I wiped all her toys today as well as every touchable surface in the house.
As for confirmation it lasted only a week for someone else, im hoping it ends today . We cannot wait to have her back to normal . she has been sleeping with me as well, pretty much stuck to my side lately-very whiney and clingy. Ill give her all the cuddles she wants right now. knock on wood day #7 today and no mess ups.... got my fingers crossed.
