No, it has too much sugar for me to feed it to a baby. Instead if he does get any yogurt it's whole fat plain greek yogurt. I then flavor with fruit. I did the same with my daughter. It's a much healthier alternative.
We haven't started yogurt yet, but when we do we'll use plain whole milk yogurt, not sweetened yogurt. Even the "good" brands have added sugar. If the baby doesn't like it plain then I'll add homemade fruit purees with no sugar. I don't buy sweetened yogurt for anyone in our house, just add fresh fruit to sweeten it if the kids want it sweet. I'll admit I'm still a little bitter that my oldest daughter's preschool provided sweetened yogurt as snack because until then my kids didn't know sweet yogurt existed and it was difficult to get her to eat yogurt at home for a while.
I am planning to do the same as PPs have said.. plain yogurt with fruit mixed in. I did a little online research just now on Yoplait Baby Yogurt and my first take away was that Yoplait Baby Yogurt has LESS sugar than plain yogurts.... but then I looked at serving sizes. Plain yogurt still has less sugar.
DS is turning 6 months tomorrow and has been doing great on fruit/veggie purees so I plan to introduce yogurt soon. When I'm actually IN the store and able to look at labels I'll go whichever brand has less sugar.
We always gave DS1 YoBaby yogurt. I just went to look that one up after reading this and, yep, added sugar. I never even knew. I guess I just figured that something marketed for a baby and labeled organic wouldn't have added sugar! Maybe we'll skip that one this time around...
We did this too - Stonyfield organic whole milk plain. A big reason for choosing Stonyfield was it was the only brand I found that contained Vitamin D. I had assumed it was in all yogurt but it's not!

I give yobaby yogurt or plain yogurt. The yobaby yogurt has natural milk sugar which is the sugar that's in the the milk it's made from and not added to it for sweetness.

Yoplait Baby Yogurt 9 grams of sugar in 85 gram serving size. (10.6% sugar)
Dannon All Natural Plain Yogurt 12 grams of sugar in 170 gram serving size (7.1% sugar)
