Depo shot?

Coming over from 03 w/ a question.
If you have been on the Depo shot did you like it? I was thinking about going on it.

    I was on it for 5 years. I would not do it again. It is very hard on your body and the side effects are bad. I gained a ton of weight both going on and coming off it. I do not recommend it.

    the best thing I have done is to get the non hormonal padagard Iud. I had it before I got pregnant and got another after I gave birth. So perfect. I know that mirena has had a lot of problems for people and it still had hormones so not something I wanted to deal with

    I was on it for 3 years and do not recommend it. I had a period for 2 months straight when starting and stopping it. Toward the end, my joints felt very weak, and my hair started falling out. I didn't have any weight issues on it, but I could definitely tell it was taking a toll on my body. On the up side, it was very effective as a BC method.
