I have noticed that most sleepers no longer have the feet attached on them. I was under the impression that they were supposed to have them. Did I miss something? I haven't bought any because I want to make sure i"m up to date on all this. I'm a FTM and I'm going through the FTM freak outs right now.

Some have them, some don't. I think it's just a matter of preference.

My kid out grows the foot size long before the actual sleeper, so we buy the footless ones. Other than having a big foot I like to footies better, no need for socks.

There is no right or wrong here, it's a matter of preference. Footed sleep and plays can be much easier outfitting choice since you don't have to worry about socks (which get kicked off and easily lost) but taller babies tend to outgrow the footed sleepers quickly. We used a lot of sleepers with feet during the newborn months, but I eventually went on to prefer the zippered cotton PJs without the feet like the ones found at the Childrens Place because they do last longer

I just bought some for my dd in girls size 4. If you live in a warmer climate they may not all be out because it's hot out. Even Walmart here only has the cotton tshirt material kind out, fleece won't be out until they bring out the fall clothes.
