Is it normal not experiencing early signs of pregnancy?

Month 2 of TTC. Today I'm at day 28 of my cycle and have always been very regular. As of now - no sign of AF. No cramps like I normally experience days prior to AF just an occasional dull pain (not that noticeable). I plan on waiting a couple of more days until I take a test. I haven't experienced any other early symptoms of pregnancy though....  is this normal?

You could have ovulated late, are you charting to confirm O? You're always regular until you aren't, it happens. The only way to know anything is to Pee on a stick, if you truly are "late" you would turn a positive test.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml

    Hello, and welcome :)

Are you charting and temping? I would recommend reading the newbie blog linked at the top of the board. It has a lot of valuable information.

As for what you are experiencing, I would say it's normal because a lot of us have wonky cycles sometimes.

If you want to test, go for it.. but if it keeps coming up negative, and you don't have a AF for 60 days contact your doctor. (I had to get a prescription of provera last month to jump start my period.)

    Good luck!

Yes, completely normal to have a later ovulation resulting in a later period, resulting in no pregnancy symptoms because you're not pregnant. Happens to me all the time.  The last three cycles, for example, I got my period four to five days later than 'normal' each cycle and I was not pregnant. It happens.

Why? Are we not capable of telling her that's it's normal to have a longer cycle?

I'm guessing she meant because a lot of us here have never been pregnant, so we don't personally know if it's "normal" to be symptomless and still turn out to be pregnant.

There is no "always or never" in TTC.  I usually get several days of cramping before my period, but two months ago I had none....I wiped one day and had light pink spotting and the next day my period was there.  It happens.
