Hey ladies, so I had a little bit of an annoying dr's appointment today..Just need to vent to you ladies. I am 12w6d today and I had a follow up with my OB to go over NT scan. All results were good, what a relief! There were some surprises though. My dr tells me she is going to transfer me to the high risk specialist at the hopsital since I have a complicated health history (isolated seizures and hypothyroid) I am on synthroid and keppra. So she feels this is over her head. Ok Fair enough. Then she also tells me she's actually leaving the practice! So is this just an excuse?? She said she would've switched me anyway, but geez I should've been told this on her first visit.
So feeling a little out of sorts, then THIS happens. The dr leaves the room for a second and the nurse comes in with the doppler. She's trying to find the heartbeat and couldn't find it. She has a stunned look on her face and of course I'm freaking out! The dr comes in and says oh there's no way you'll hear it yet it' too early, and scolded the nurse for worrying me. I was still upset, so she rolled over the ultrasound machine and showed me heartbeat everything is fine. Phew. Ok. Baby is fine, but I still feel like I was put through the ringer today. Thanks for listening ladies!

That stinks, but it sounds like everything worked out in the end.
On a side note, you really like ellipses, don't you? (No judgment, I like them too.
haha, I use them a lot as well. Bad habit. I like 'em.

BAd habit for me too! I feel like it makes it more conversational.
Also guilty. I do this all.the.time. I feel like it's a more conversational pause when I use the ellipses.
Raising hand to join the group. I love adding ellipses, it makes me feel more conversational.
