This is probably a stupid question, but where do you change your baby if you are out and there is not a changing table in the restroom? I use a changing pad, but don't want to put it on the floor. Thanks!
I usually do it in the car even if there is a changing table in the restroom. I don't usually freak out about germs, but those things creep me out. I have used them though! But I have one of those dividing shelves in my CRV and I put the changing pad on that and change him real quick.
I go back to the car. I have asked the lady at the register if she wouldn't mind watching my cart even though they had one in the restroom. My sister and I did that with my niece and nephew too.
I have changed him on a bench no way was I dragging DD from the park to the car to change a diaper, on the space between the two sinks in a rest room, on my lap, in the car DH did that one. I just make do and don't stress it.

This. I change baby where ever it's convenient.

I was in this situation on Saturday. There was no countertop so I did change him on the floor. He didn't touch anything but his changing pad. I'm surprised at how mamy people will go all the way back to the car for a 2 minute diaper change.
I carry a travel size Lysol in my diaper bag and have even changed on the floor of a hotel once when there was no changing table. Our car was valeted and I had no choice, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Wherever it's most convenient, although ideally in my car (I have a RAV4 and the back is really spacious and the perfect height for changing a diaper).
