Update: I'm not responding to meds well at all... After 10 days of stims, my largest follie is near 11. I'll find out today whether we continue ahead with this cycle, or if it gets cancelled.
QOTD: Tahiti... I want to stay in one of those huts that are in/above the water... And the warm weather is DEFINITELY a plus

I'm newer here but I'll join in.
We just had IUI #4 (Clomid 50mg) this weekend so I guess I am in the dreaded 2WW. I had 2 follies on Friday measuring 19 cm each so we shall see. Our issues are male factor infertility.
QOTD: Since it?s absolutely FREEZING here in Chicago, my mind is totally wondering to vacation? So? Where do you wish you could go, right now, on vacation? Anywhere in the world, money is no object, and no worries about IF?
Maui! No doubt in my mind, we would head to Maui for a 2 week vacation. We would also bring my parents so we had reliable babysitting services one or two nights.
IDEA QUESTION: If you didn't have IF, what do you think you'd spend you're time obsessing over? I've asked myself this question numerous times since making IF my LIFE!
Or what have your previous IUI protocals been...oral/injectible meds, days of stimming, CD of IUI, etc. HTH!
1. Update on you: Well as seen from my post earlier this morning, IUI #3 was a bust for us. I had a very "feel sorry for myself" weekend and now I'm waiting on my RE to call with our next plan. We have 10 vials of Follistim that were donated from a fellow nestie, and expire at the end of January, so I'm guessing we'll be forced to just do IUI # 4/Follistim.
2. QOTD: Since it?s absolutely FREEZING here in Chicago, my mind is totally wondering to vacation? So? Where do you wish you could go, right now, on vacation? Anywhere in the world, money is no object, and no worries about IF? Oh, I'm in St. Louis and it's FREEZING here too! I would go back to where we went for our honeymoon, Hutchinson Island in Florida or really any where that's warm, quiet and has a beach. Gosh, I could use a vacation right now!
Update: Had a lap in November, they found mild endometriosis which has removed. We are now TTC naturally until the end of January. If not sucessful we will try a couple more IUI with injections. In the meantime I have to have a D&C. I keep testing positve for ureaplasma. I have done mulitiple rounds of antibiotics but I continue to test +. After the D&C, DH and I are suppose to take Levaquin for 21 days. Fun, fun, fun.
QOTD: Well, I am headed to Florida for Christmas. Dh and I are planning a little get away to Sanabell Island while we are there. But I would also love a get away to the Bahamas!
I have my beta for IUI #2 on Thursday. A pregnant friend gave me a bunch of hpt's that she bought on the internet, so I plan to test everyday until Thursday so that I can be more prepared for any bad news (last time I was a hysterical wreck at work when I got the call). This morning's test was a bfn, although I know its still a little early.
QOTD: I would love to go to Colorado to go skiing for a week. Lots of exercise and fresh air would do me good and keep my mind off of feeling sorry for myself.

I'm still waiting for AF to show. BB's are still sore from last week, if AF doesn't show by Friday I'm going to test and call my Re.

I would go back to Hawaii in a heart beat, just point me to the nearest plane! I'll buy clothes when I get there, lol. Maui, Kauai, the big island...I don't care!
Update: My DH and I are meeting with our RE tomorrow to try to figure out what we're going to do next. I know that our RE wants us to try IUI#5 in January with more injectables. Our insurance only covers 6 IUIs and 2 IVFs, so we want to meet with him and see what we can do to increase our chances of success before our insurance coverage runs out.
QOTD: I would love to be in Florida or the Carribean right now!
1. Update on you ~ Right now I am on CD30, 16dpiui, no AF, but all BFN's. I stopped the Prometrium last night so hopefully AF will be here soon so the cycle can be over and done with. I'm feeling pretty down today.

Anywhere in the world, money is no object, and no worries about IF? It's 72 degrees here, not feeling very Christmasy at all. But I think I'd like to go to Maui for 2-3 weeks and just relax. Dh can golf and I can lay out and read. We could get massages and take a helicopter ride. :::sigh:::
1. Update: I had IUI#1 last Thursday, so I am in the 2ww (only 4dpIUI!) My instructions say to test on Christmas day, but I'll probably test Christmas Eve, since my family will be coming into town for Christmas day and I would like to have some time to absorb whatever the outcome is before having to tell people. (My mom knows when the IUI was, so she'l want to know right away if it worked or not).
2. I have to agree with Daisy here - a week or two of skiing would be amazing - I would live to ski in Europe - the Swiss Alps perhaps
1. I think I will test tomorrow or Wednesday. If it is negative, we will be on a forced break cycle because the RE's office is closed for Christmas and we did not make the cut off. Then we will be back for IUI #4 in January.
2. OMG it is cold here. I have my warmest sweater on and I just can't stop shivering. Number one on our vacation list is New Zealand. We love to travel and have been putting that on hold b/c of IF. We decided what the hell and we are going at the end of March. I am super excited! My plan is to continue to do IUI until then. Take a break while we go to New Zealand and then probably start IVF if we are not pregnant by then...
Update: only 2 days away from testing but I feel like AF is coming on strong so I am kinda depressed about it. Not to mention the cryobank we use is raising their prices. So my holidays are pretty much shot. Anyway if I could be anywhere else it would have to be somewhere in the Carribean. "Suntanned toes tickling the sand, cold drink chillin' in my right hand"

I want to be in the Virgin Islands where DH and I honeymooned over 4 years ago. It would be so nice to relax on the beach with a drink in my hand.
Update: Clomid/IUI Cycle 3 is a no-go. My betas for #2 came back super low positive so I have to keep going back until they either fall to 0 or it is discovered that it is ectopic (this is the most likely scenario according to the doctor based on my symptoms). So I'm kind of in limbo I guess.
QOTD: Bora Bora
Update: Went in for my bloodwork today after getting two + tests. Bloodwork showed a BFN. + was probably due to Ovidrel still being in my system even after the 2 weeks. Then around 4 pm AF showed up, so I guess I will call my RE tomorrow and figure out the plan.
QOTD: Jamaica. we went there on our honeymoon and it was wonderful.
Update on me: I am still hoping I will O without meds this cycle... Christmas miracle, right?

1. IUI #1 in September was a BFN. Currently on a break until the New Year for IUI #2.
2. We would love to go on a Mediterranean Cruise...probably not now though...sometime in the Spring!!
1) IUI #4 should be this Wed and Thurs b2b.
2) I think Tahiti would be nice, or the BVI. Someplace that is warm and on a beach.
