So, my last pd was May 10th. So,my lmp was June 10th. On the 20th i found out i was pregnant. According, to how you calculate how far along you are and your due date. I should roughly be 7 weeks pregnant right now. Well, i had a vaginal U/S done two days ago do to sharp stabbing pains that i was having. Come to find out according to the ultrasounds, I am only measuring at about 4.55 weeks and possible twins!! I dont understand how i am only 4.5 weeks pregnant, but if calculated from Last pd I should be about 7 weeks?

I'm confused. Your LMP is May 10th; LMP is the first day of your last menstrual period prior to conceiving. If you didn't bleed June 10th it is not your LMP. Plus, you couldn't have a period on June 10th and then find out you are pregnant on June 20th. It's possible you were having a very long cycle and actually ovulated quite late leaving you 4.5 weeks pregnant. When is your next ultrasound?
Was the ultrasound done at an ob's office/facility or was it done in the ER? If it was done at the ER you need to make an appointment with an ob and explain your history when you call to make the appointment.
TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
I'm assuming you meant your lmp was May 10?
Even though using the LMP is standard for calculating the due date, it's not terribly accurate unless you have a 28 day cycle with ovulation occurring on day 14. Ultrasounds are more accurate at dating pregnancies. You probably just ovulated much later.
No. I had a Pd on May 10th. So, I believe I was supposed to start on June 7th or 8th.
I guess I just didn't realize it was possible to ovulate late. Not real familiar with this stuff. I just go with it.
LMP = Last Menstrual Period
Hey crazy things happen all the time. My DH and I decided to chart after our first pregnancy. Birth control is very hard on my body. We knew the risk we were taking and were willing to accept it since we want a big family anyway. It worked great for 17 months. We got pregnant on day 8 of my cycle. I had my regular 5 day period. And apparently ovulated on day 8! (My husband tells every one it was planned because we knew the risk!;)) +9

So similar to me this time. My LMP was March 30, ended April 4th and I got pregnant on the 9th! I was surprised but my DH was expecting it. You just never can tell ; ) But from what I understand you can get pregnant 2 days or so before or after you ovulate so that puts me a little closer to normal if you think about it that way.
