small pieces after peeing

Hello Ladies,

I have a rather odd question. I just went to the bathroom and after urinating i noticed a few redish-brown specs/pieces at the bottom of the toilet that came out after using the bathroom. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

Probably some of your mucus plug. Doesn't mean much, it can regenerate.

You asked this in our bmb as well. If you are concerned, you should call your doctor. I personally would, even if you are feeling well, I would still just double check.

This has been happening to me since last week. went to the hospital thursday. came home friday. went back saturday. they tried to induce & it didn't work.(also gestational diabetic & my blood pressure elevated for quite some time)

It turned out to be blood clots. They couldn't find a tear in my placenta so it eventually passed. I did eventually pass a massive clot (diameter of a small lime). was crazy

My mucus plug did come out last week also. I would say if it turns bright red or your dripping blood, call doctor ASAP. It may be nothing like me but it could be serious so its better to get checked out.

You can always call if its worrying you. The doctor will let you know if you need to come in.
