Gerber Formula change questions

We just switched my 3.5 month old son from gerber soothe to gerber gentle because that's what daycare has since we switched him he seems to spit up after every feeding and seems to be pretty gassy. He generally never spit up while he was on soothe. Do you think this could mean he doesn't like it or that its bothering his stomach? Has anyone experienced this on gerber gentle?

    My son will spit up on it. However, the only real different between the two is the lack of lactose in one. You could try an infant probiotic for the gas and to help him digest better.

    So funny you posted this, as I posted something similar on my BMB this morning.  I EBF for 2 months and then slowly started swtiching LO over to Gerber Soothe -- I thought the probiotic would be good for him, since  had a c section, and he was awfully fussy in his early weeks.  Our daycare also uses Gerber and when he starts there next week, I want him to be 100% on formula.

    But this past week he started spitting up CRAZY amounts, and stopped pooping -- like, he'd waterfall spitup so much that I felt like he wasn't eating anything.  So today I picked up a container of the Gentle and he only spit up once the whole day, and pooped 3 times.  Idon't know if that is a coincidence but I feel like he stopped tolerating the Soothe or something.  He will be 14 weeks on Friday.

    Glad to know i'm not the only one!
