TMI...maybe?

Soooo...I couldn't wait 6 weeks to do the deed post baby. I made it 3. Of course, I had horrid morning sickness throughout my pregnancy and preeclampsia at the end...so it had been a LONG while! We tried 6 years for our LO with no success, so we aren't planning on using any type of birth control now...i have PCOS. I guess my question is how common is it to get pregnant quickly after the first? Any first hand experience out there? I'd love to wait at least 6 months or so, but if it happened on its own, we'd be overjoyed regardless of the timing.
Dx with PCOS in 2004; TTC #1 since 2006. 6 failed rounds of Clomid, 1 failed round of injectibles, innumerable failed cycles of herbs, accupuncture, etc. FINALLY got BFP on 10/4/2012 after 2 rounds of Femara Can't wait to be a mommy! Pregnancy Ticker

    Left out a tidbit...I had also had a csection with a surprisingly fast recovery. No way on earth I would have been doing the deed at 3 weeks after a vaginal birth, lol!

    My SIL had her first in early July one year and by the very next September had her second. That's the closest experience I have with getting pregnant right afterward. =)

    My step sister went to her 6 week pp check and found out she was pregnant.  My nephew will turn 10 before my niece turns 11.
