Anyone else noticed LO coughing more frequently during teething? At first I thought it was just for attention, it sounds like a fake cough, and she'd smile afterwards. So we stopped giving her any special attention when she did it, but now she's doing it randomly...it seems to be most frequent when she's babbling or laughing. It doesn't seem to bother her, and she doesn't have a fever or runny nose or anything else that indicates illness- and she's her normal happy self. She's been showing signs of teething for months now, but they've gotten more apparent the last couple of weeks (more drool, more chewing on things, etc) and I'm wondering if the extra saliva isn't what's causing her to cough a little. Am I way off base here or is this possibly teething related?
