S/O Sleep

I haven't done any type of sleep training with Elijah. I have been rocking him to sleep at night and for naps since he was born. In the last couple of days he has started to let me know when he is ready to sleep. He has adopted a blanket as his lovey and takes it everywhere with him. When he is ready to sleep he grabs the blanket, crawls over to me and lays down in my lap with the blanket.

Does anyone else have a LO doing something similar?

he actually has been fighting sleep lately.

But I haven't done any training either. He wakes up at 11PM, 2AM and 5AM like clockwork. I just bring him in bed at 2AM and let him stay.

We all sleep better that way and I can just side nurse.

Awe, that is so adorable! I have been rocking him to sleep sincehe was born too. He usually will let me know when he's sleepy with eye rubbing and if I'm holding him he snuggles his head into me. Lately though he has been having trouble getting comfortable while I rock him and I put him is his crib almost asleep and he rolls around for a minute then is out.

I'm dreaming of the day that that happens. We still use sleep cues and routine to get DS to sleep.

We've sleep trained. Lately, during the day when DS is tired and is ready for his nap, he'll stop playing with his toys, crawl towards me to hug my leg and give this whiny/fussy cry. That' when I know he's tired and I take him upstairs to his room and put him down for his nap.
