Should I go to the hospital? TMI

I started for sure bleeding today, and a clot about a little larger than a quarter dropped from me. Should I head to the hospital to confirm loss? Or just let it go?

Clots are sometimes part of this awful process. If you're worried, go to the ER. They can check and make sure that you are alright, but to give you a heads up, the ER can be little traumatic. They'll do a manual pelvic exam and possibly and ultrasound. I know with my second loss, my first ultrasound was at the ER when I started bleeding. Seeing the gestational sac while knowing we weren't getting our baby was hard for me....

With my first loss I went to the doctors office and it was the same. Pelvic exam, transvaginal u/s, blood tests, confirmation of loss. Then the doctor talked to me about contraceptives... My second we just confirmed w/ a blood test. My first was pretty traumatic because of the amount of blood there was. I am pretty sure it couldn't be more traumatic than my first. I feel like I'm becoming a pro at this...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure you've made yor decision by now but if you feel like your losing too much blood is definitely go in. Otherwise I'd probably just make an appt with your doctor. I hope you're feeling well. Thoughts and prayers to you.

This is true. When I lost my first and I was at the OB office, I could hear in the next room a woman listening to her baby's heart beat. That was torture.
