Which baby carriers have you STM had the best luck with or FTM which ones have you decided on getting? I want one the will be a good fit for DD, me and my SO.
I really like having a wrap kind for the first 6mos. I have the moby. I also like having one that transitions from front to back (for that I have an infantino brand, sort of an ergo knock off, but I do wish I had spent more money on an ergo or beco). FI likes the backpack one and carried DD around until about age 2 when she was really able to keep up with us walking. I also often used it while teaching dance so that definitely says something about being able to support a kid while moving a lot and jumping for hours at a time. DD never got bored in a carrier and would probably still happily hang out in it.
Some common carriers: mei tai, sling, k'tan, moby, Boba, Beco, Ergo, Look them up, narrow it down based on features you want, then google away. Carrier comparisons are talked about all.the.time on the Internet and there is a lot of info out there.
FWIW, we are getting a Moby and Boba 3G. I definitely do not recommend a Baby Bjorn.. And most sources you find will agree.
I've been wondering about this too and keep seeing posts about the ergo or boba. Many people are against baby bjorn does anyone have first hand experience with the bjorn? Why is everyone so opposed to them?
I've not used any of them, friends have the boba though and like it. Until i was pregnant, i didnt realize there was anything other than bjorn moby, lol. I keep seeing cute Infantino ones but am so confused on why Infantino Bjorn are not favored. Hence my question, lol.

They do not offer enough support or positioning for the hips and legs, and "crotch danglers" are not good for baby. I don't know all the exact research or specifics, but a quick google search can get you lots of info.
I would recommend to ask around a borrow to see which you like. I bought a moby with the second and I hated it, as well as others. I would get way to hot. So test drive some

This, exactly. Baby Bjorn can cause issues with developing hips. Here is just one article discussing the issues: https://www.mtwholehealth.com/2012/12/baby-wearing-safely I do encourage you to do your own research on it, however, as you may reach a different opinion than mine.
We have an organic cotton Ergo that has survived two babies so far and still looks brand new after many washes. Both of my girls loved it!
This time I'm also considering trying a K'tan as well. I like the idea of using something a little snugger like that for early days of baby wearing around the house. We'll continue to primarily use the Ergo, though.

This question has been asked and answered at least 6 or 7 times in the past couple of months.

I registered for the Mei Tai.
