Take that Identity Theif!

Yup some jerk stole access to my credit card.  Fool, never steal the credit card of a woman who just had IVF, how do you think I paid for it?  They tried to charge like $800 at Walmart - declined, $600 - declined and so on.  There is no money there, they were probably thinking "Man this woman is worse off than we are!"  The credit card company called us and took care of it so no worries.  I just thought it was funny, maybe now my name is on a do not steal her identity, its not worth it among the criminals list.

    Aurgh- what a pain in the .  Love your sense of humor about it though!  They really should know better.

    Ugh.....  that is a royal pain.  I had something similar last week.   Bank notified me that there was suspected fraudulent activity.  So they froze my debit card.  Luckily nothing was taken from my account.

    First u/s June 15 saw HB 126 bpm missed m/c 7/5/12 10 weeks D&C 7/6/12
    IVF#4 ER 9/30 ET 10/3 Beta 10/16 BFFN. IVF #5 final with o/e. ER 1/21 only 1 retrieved, hoping my lonestar is the one. Beta #1 2/6/13 = 209.... please let this be it! Keep growing lonestar! Beta #2 2/8/13 - 586! , Beta #3 2/10/13 = 1898. First u/s perfect little heart beat at 116 bpm. Measure 6 weeks 1 day. EDD 10/14/13
    3/4/13 measuring right on track beautiful heartbeat 171 bpm, graduated from RE to OB... bittersweet.
    PAIF/SAIF always welcome! Its a girl!

    both measuring right on track....2nd u/s... all is well... both beans measuring right on track... released from RE... first
    appointment with MFM 1/5.  Looks like this is really happening!

    That totally sucks!! But your sense of humor made me laugh esp since I just put our ivf cycle on our credit card!

    Sorry you had to go through that, but Im glad you have such a great attitude about it (and that you were able to catch it early before the identity thief was able to do any damage).

    arrgg-how horrible some people are! It amazes me.  A few years back I had someone charge $2,500 on my credit card-and then they paid it off from my checking account!!!! WTF???
