north county moms meet up?

So, we welcomed Madeline on June 2, and we are starting to get into a tiny bit of a routine. I went to the Scripps breastfeeding support group at Encinitas Friday and would highly recommend it, as well! In another week, we will finally be free of all house guests, and I would love to meet up with any north county moms for a walk/lunch/ or? I'll be home with maddy until mid September, so am looking to find one activity a day to do to keep busy! I live in La Costa but we can be fairly mobile, as long as there is somewhere to nurse wherever we go!

Hope all the moms in SD are doing well! I know a lot of you are due later in the summer, as well... Good luck!

    Congratulations! I saw your post on the May board with pictures and have to say that Madeline is absolutely adorable. I would definitely be interested in meeting up, either for a walk or coffee e.g., Peet's at Bressi Ranch may be a good meeting location because there is a nice big park nearby to walk around if a baby gets fussy.

    Silly question, but is there a way to contact each other privately without sharing email addresses/phone numbers in a public forum?

    Vegemite, good to hear from you! I know from seeing other posts that there are private messages on here but I don't know how to use them. I will try to use my actual computer tonight instead of my iPhone to see if I can figure it out. Thanks Madeline is keeping me busy but it has been a great adventure so far! Hope you are also doing well. I could meet at Bressi ranch. It's probably 25 minutes from my house, not too bad...

    How do I send a Private Message?

    If you would like send a private message to another member, just open one of their posts, click "Contact." and choose "Send so and so a Private Message." They will receive an email that they have a private message if their current email is updated on their Bump profile.

    How do I check to see if I have a Private Message?

    While on any board, scroll down to "My Boards" on the left-hand side. Underneath it you will see "Check Private Messages."

    I'm mostly a lurker on my birth month (April), and have enjoyed reading bump posts during the MOTN feedings.  I'm also looking for a new mom group with similar age babies (my boy just turned 2 months) to meet up and possibly have play dates down the road. I'm located at San Elijo HIlls area, and will be on maternity leave until August so I'm pretty flexible until then.  Thanks!

    You are right up the street then from us in la costa! Feel free to email me at mikabuffyahoo.com if you want to try to coordinate a meetup! Also if you are BFing, the Scripps and babies in bloom bf support groups are great ways to meet other moms with similar aged babies!

    Edit to apologize for excessive exclamation point usage. Mobile bumping doesn't leave a lot of punctuation options.
