Should you do one side per feeding or switch? Dd usually only eats for 5 to 10 m.
During the day she usually does one side. In the am I pump the opposite side too.
If it is at night and i have to change /swaddle her after she eats, then i switch sides and she will only do the other side a min or two. Then next time i begin on the opposite of where I began the previous time.
Is this right? Dd is only two weeks and I feel like all I do is BF and no one can help. When does it get easier?
Re: Sides, switch?
By 6 weeks you'll be a pro But seriously, it does get much easier by that point.
There's no hard and fast rule to what you should do. Some babies only ever take one side. What you are doing sounds find if she is having good diaper output and seems satisfied. Honestly, unless there's some pressing concern, I would put the pump away for another two weeks - that's just one more hassle to worry about at this point.
