Sorry I have been so MIA. We are nearing the end of a three week moved out of our house renovation. We have been staying with my parents, so I've been spending a lot more time driving to operate my normal life and thus, not as much time bumping.
The flooring installers have been at the house since Wednesday. They should finish tomorrow. They discovered a problem with the appearance of some of our wood and halted installation until I could come down and see what was going on and make a decision. They have gone the extra mile to ensure that the it isn't just installed correctly, but looks really amazing. Their communication and flexibility with my schedule has been great. It is a two-man team. Any thoughts on how much I should tip them? Neither owns the business, they just work for the installation company. Thanks!
Re: Tipping workers, advice? (NSAIF-related)
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

I do like the idea of writing a letter to their boss about how wonderful they were. I also always hop on the Internet and write reviews after any kind of work is done to our house, etc.
