Well we made it back home. My dad was finally released from the hospital this morning, with strict instructions to follow up with his cardiologist and get his meds reviewed ASAP. Another girl on our trip came down with strep and after a visit to the clinic, spent the whole vacation holed up in her room. And I got the worst clogged duct I've ever had. It's red and hot and hurts like heck. But I don't have a fever so I'm praying mastitis stays away. I'm pumping and nursing like crazy to try to clear it but it's been there since Friday. Ugh.
So it was a dramatic trip to say the least. We did manage to have a little fun between all of the drama though. E got to play in a pool for the very first time. I'll be sure to post a pic for HDB/BD! She also said mama for the first time, and her little cousin learned to sit up. Fun times!
Thanks everyone for the T and P. it really made me feel better when I was stuck at the rental house with the LO and didn't have a clue what was going on with my dad.
Now off to frantically see what I missed this weekend with no wifi!

    Glad you are all home.  Hope the clogged duct resolves quickly.  So thrilled to hear that E said "mama"!

    So sorry it ended up being so hectic and notsofun! Glad to hear your dad was released. FX the clogged duct is resolved ASAP! And holy smokes that E said Mama! What a blessing!!
    MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    What a trip! I'm sorry things were not so smooth. I'm happy to hear that your dad is better! I hope your bb's feel better...ouchie! And yay for E and her cousin!

    I've been a bit AWOL so I'm sorry I missed the original post but I am glad your dad is ok. I hope your duct clears soon. I had a bad one last week and was feeding and pumping like crazy on that side and it just kept getting worse and then all of a sudden I felt it drain during a feed. It was an amazing relief. I hope it comes for you soon.

    Happy to hear your dad is doing better. Aside from that it sounds like this weekend was a fun weekend of firsts for E! Sooo fun.
