So im thinking it might just be from bloating and gas, but for the past few days after I eat dinner, my upper abdomen gets really uncomfortable. It lasts a good 3 to 4 hours or really just until I lay down and go to bed. It's not painful, but uncomfortable when I sit and stand. It's almost like a pressure gassy feeling. It's hard to describe, but it happens like right above where my uterus is in my upper abdomen but below rib cage area. And it's not my baby bc he is way down low. Any ideas? Is it heartburn maybe?
Re: Abdominal discomfort
I don't eat a lot of veggies... They still make me gag and dry heave. At least I didnt have any before this feeling occurred.
I already eat about 8 small meals a day... I'm a very light eater. Everyone always comments on how little I eat bc they think I don't eat enough for the baby. But what they don't realize is I eat something every 1 to 2 hours during the day. Anyway, I try walking, but it actually makes me more uncomfortable.
Talk with your doctor about it at your next appt. It doesn't sound like typical heart burn symptoms at all. Walking doesn't make heartburn worse, but it can make indigestion uncomfortable while your stomach is trying to digest.
Thanks. I'll probably call him tomorrow to see if I can take anything for it. It most likely is indigestion. Oh man is it uncomfortable!
