I am almost 4 weeks PP and I am only 11 pounds away from my pre-baby weight. I am not necessarily complaining but I was not expecting it to shed that quickly. I was EBF for the first 2 weeks and am now pumping and bottle feeding so perhaps that has something to do with it. Keeping up with the eating the first few weeks were tough but now I am back on track. I was honestly expecting it to take months to lose the 38 pounds I gained, just wondering if anyone else has shed the lbs quickly??
I've done great losing the weight, but honestly the numbers have never bothered me. Even with my weight loss going well, I still need to tone. The toning is my priority, not the numbers on the scale.
I gained 15, and pretty much left the hospital around my pre baby weight. Now at 4 weeks later, I am down 7 pounds from pre pregnancy weight. Not trying to brag or make anyone feel bad, just replying that was like OP. I am EBF and can't seem to eat enough food. I also had major problems gaining weight and couldn't gain a thing in first or third tri, so that sucked.
Yup, I lost 25 of my 30 in the first few weeks and a couple more since then. But I still have a bunch of extra belly pooch skin and a thicker midsection. None of my pants fit but hooray for loose sundresses.
I had GD and ended up 30lbs under what my prepregnancy weight was. My belly is super flabby and nothing fits right at all. When I was pumping more often I was ravenously hungry but was keeping it all off. Now that I don't have as much time to pump because I am at work I have to watch what I am eating closer.
I'm 9lbs away from pre-preg weight. The only part of me that is not shrinking is my little belly squish. I really don't care how much I weigh. The only reason I know is because at my 6 week pp appointment they weighed me. I'm back at the gym and starting back up with my weight lifting so I am hoping to get my tummy back in good shape.
I lost most of my weight by 4 weeks PP too. I feel like it is all rearranges to different areas and I have lost a lot of muscle tone that I had before but the number is the same. I am EBF which always helps.
I lost all 42 lbs plus an extra 7 by 4 weeks. Unfortunately my body will never be the same and clothing is still fitting snugly. One day ill find the time to work out and tone back up but with two LOs I'm just glad the pregnancy weight is gone.

I gained close to 40, and have about 5 pounds to still lose...not really concerned though. I wouldn't mind staying at this weight, but none of my clothes fit. Breastfeeding makes weight drop off really fast for me. With my first child, I ended up losing too much weight and was too thin. I don't want that to happen again, so I'm monitoring weight loss and I might have to start supplementing with nutrition drinks or something.

I gained 65 pounds with my twins but a LOT of it was retained water. I lost 45 pounds within 2 weeks pp. I've only lost a couple more in the last 7 weeks, but my diet has been pretty poor [lots of ice cream and frozen Stouffers meals]. I have about 18 pounds to lose and even though I'm BFing two babies, those pounds aren't coming off until I start exercising and eating better.

This. And would like my floppy skin on my belly to go away too.
I gained 32 and am back to my prepregnancy weight; however, am in serious need of toning in the abdomen area. I'm waiting to be cleared at my 6 week appt. and plan to start working on it then. I'm told patience is key with the belly though so I'm not being hard on myself if it doesn't go back for a while.
I lose the weight fast, but the muscle tone takes time and work! I'm 9 weeks PP, 3 pounds away from my starting weight and a good 1 or 2 sizes up still.

Exactly this. I need to tone up and get rid of the mommy flab.

I still have 5 pounds to go, but I'm more concerned with how my clothes fit than what the scale says. I'm also trying to build muscle back up, so there's a good chance I'll never see my pre-preg weight again, though I'll still look the same size.

My baby weight plus some was all gone very quickly. I credit not gaining much to begin with, spending a week in the hospital and not having time to eat the first week we were home.

Weight fell off quickly for me, but then I gained a few lbs back because I felt like I was starving and started eating quick, easy food... Aka junk. Still under prepreg weight, but I think that has more to do with loss of muscle tone from bed rest, etc.
Like so many PPs, I'm more interested in toning up the jiggle. 1.5 more weeks till my follow up, hoping to get cleared for exercise!
