Crib transition tip

I don't know if this will help anyone, but it was the only thing that worked for my first kid. He was one of those babies who would be absolutely out cold.....and wake up within minutes of being put down. For him, I think it was the cold sheets. Granted, he was born in late October, but still - with the AC on in the summer, rooms can still be on the cool side.

I bought a cheap heating pad from WalMart (I think it was like $8-10?) and we'd lay it in his crib on low while I fed and rocked him to sleep. Before I'd lay him down, I'd pull the heating pad away so his spot was nice and toasty - like my arms were. We only needed to do that for 2-3 weeks before he was fine with it and sleeping well.

You do what ya gotta do! :-)
