Has your lo had one of these yet?

Ds just had one and it scared the crap out of DH and I. He was flailing around, kicking, and screaming, but he still had his eyes closed. I rubbed his back and talked to him, and then he vomited from screaming, so I woke him up. After I cleaned him up, he didn't want to go back down, so I guess he's sleeping with us tonight. Poor dude.

I don't know that we could exclusively say O had a night terror, but a few months ago, out of nowhere, O was sound asleep and just started screaming bloody murder. DH and I ran upstairs and scooped him up. He was crying and trying to get out of his room. I don't know what spooked him, but I let him sleep with me that night because it scared the shiit out of me!

Poor kid. Hope he sleeps well the rest of the night.

DD does often. She'll cry in her sleep and thrash around sometimes. Others, she'll scream bloody murder and flail wildly. Her eyes are closed and she appears asleep, otherwise. When I pick her up, she clings to me for dear life crying hysterically. It breaks my heart. The only way she'll go back to sleep is if she's on me.

She never does this if she's asleep touching me, though. She's only ever done it in her crib or cosleeper.

Poor little guy!

We haven't experience it yet. I hope we never do, but I know we will probably at some point as LO grows up.

Not teething or sick. The only thing I can think of sleep deprivation. He hasn't been napping well lately because of this damn wonder week.

I thought toddlers and older children got night terrors, but I guess babies do too?

This happened to DD last night. It made me so sad. Her cry was heartbreaking, and she slept the rest of the night curled up next to me.

Yeah, ds is laying half way on me right now. It was the only way I could get him back to sleep.
