That's how our night went last night.
M ate and went down fine at her usual time. H and I had dinner and watched a movie. We went upstairs around 11 and I went in to check on the baby. It smelled in her room so I knew she had pooped, which is weird because she never poops at night. I go to pick her up and realize she is wet. With poop. Everywhere. Gross. So H strips her bed and gets her in the bath while I get clean sheets on her bed. Within 15 minutes she's back in her bed. I decide to check on her one more time before laying down. She was restless so I picked her up and rocked her for a minute. She pops her head up, looks at me, and throws up ALL over me. You guys, I hate vomit. So I carry her over to the changing table and she just starts projectile vomiting all over me. It was the most disgusting smell I've ever smelled.
I start screaming for my husband and he runs in, mortified. He takes the baby while I get cleaned up then he gives her another bath.
I'm traumatized.
She seems fine so far this morning. I'm sure it's a stomach bug and that my H and I will both get it.
Cleaning up shiit and vomit at midnight is not fun. Especially when you're half drunk. It completely kills your buzz.
The end.
Re: Poop and vomit.
Hopefully it's just something passing through and it'll be over with quickly!
SCANDAL!
Also, um. What do I do? Avoid solids for the day? I know if I call the pedi they'll wither tell me there's nothing they can do or they'll want me to come in and give them 40 bucks to tell me there's nothing they can do. O e never dealt with this so I don't knowww!

The. Worst.
Yuck.
Sorry, buddy! Hope she continues to feel better today! Poor M.
Just went through this with me and mine. It sucks. So bad. I'm sorry.
Yes, just start with half Gatorade and half water mixture and advance her diet as tolerated. Offer her some weak apple juice mixed with water too. Crackers are okay, maybe bananas if she tolerates the crackers. Some Apple sauce. Think bland stuff you'd want when you're sick. I feed mine chicken and stars soup too. I ditched the formula until they started holding stuff down and the diarrhea slowed waaaay down. Nurse when you feel you she needs it though.
Big thing is keep her hydrated, if she only tolerates Gatorade and water, so be it, when she gets hungry she'll eat.
Kiss Sweet M for me. Good luck honey. Let us know how you're doing later. Xoxox
I hope M feels better soon!
