My kid, and a peak into his heart and mind. (FB repeat)

I just put DS to bed after a fun afternoon at the local Canada Day carnival. I was telling him how much fun I had and talking about what we did. He said he wanted to go back. This is what came of the conversation.

Me: We can go back to the carnival tomorrow, I have left over ride tickets!

DS: With your brother!!

Me: Baby, I don't have a brother! Or a sister! I am all on my own.

DS: You have me to go with you Mommy!

I cried.

How can someone so small and so young understand so deeply. I love the little man he is and I am so grateful to be his Mom.
