Between my DH who "helped" by washing the cloth dipes with 3x as much soap as needed (causing LO's latest rash) and the DCP assistant who put a generous amount of Desitin on LO without any liner between his bottom and the CD, I'm getting a bit crazy over here.
I stripped the dipes to get rid of the problem caused by DH, but now I've got 3 diapers with non-CD friendly rash cream on them. :-( :-( They were stripped, but the cream is still present. I've tried the blue Dawn + hot water + toothbrush scrubbing to no avail. Bac-out? The cream is Bac-in. To boot, the usual flannel liners I use with non-CD friendly diaper cream are now not coming clean at all and the cream is still all over them.
So can you recommend any disposable liners we can use with CDs when LO gets rashes? I know of the CD-friendly creams, but I'm looking for disposable liners.
Grrrrr....
Re: What kind of barrier for rash cream?
Will look up both of these! Thanks!
We have all BGs 4.0.
Just before I put the dipes through the wash (again), I spied my Resolve stain pre-treater. It didn't work like magic, but the dipes are better than they were pre-wash. Not something I'd use with every wash, but for this special circumstance I'm glad I took the risk.
Thanks again for the recs!
Now I use homemade fleece liners if we need to use cream.
Never heard of that brand before. Where do you get yours?
The liquid and powder is available at Walmart and other stores. I'd have to ask my mom where she gets the bars though.
