1. What are your/have your animals been named? As far back as you can remember! (We are wanting to adopt another dog and are trying to come up with some name possibilities). Oreo, Tada, Winnie, Maggie, Cassidy, Sadie, Tinkerbell, Lola, Rusty! Those are a mix of cats and dogs name over my lifetime of animals!
2. What is your favorite meal to cook in a time crunch? Pasta and salads
3. What did you participate in as a child? What will your children do or what do you want them to do? Gymnastics. I would really like L to play baseball or hockey.
4. What is the last thing you purchased for YOU? A dress from Kohls!

Rocky, Carlie, Charlie, Pepsi, Oreo, Raisin, RJ, Homer, Simpson, that's all I can think of right now. This is a menagerie of horses, calves, cats, dogs, guinea pig, hamster, the list goes on!
2. What is your favorite meal to cook in a time crunch?
I like doing a fillet in the oven since it is so hot. We buy the small bacon wrapped fillets and season them and bake them and they are done in less than 30 minutes - throw some veggies and maybe some cheese noodles in there too.
3. What did you participate in as a child? What will your children do or what do you want them to do?
I was raised by a single mom so we were limited, I did t-ball one year but had a bad coach and lost interest then I did volleyball in middle school. My son has tried karate (now) and was in gymnastics and did t-ball as well. I will let him try what he wants but won't force him to stick with something he hates. I will want him to try for awhile so he knows he did attempt it but I won't force him to do something he isn't happy doing.
4. What is the last thing you purchased for YOU?
I bought some clothes and belts this morning to mix into my regular wardrobe as well as using them for my new work wardrobe as well. I still need to buy some navy pants and a pair of black heels and I will buy me some new glasses next week after my eye exam.
5. How often do you purge your home? Closets, etc.?
I do it pretty often, H and I are both really clean and organized people. I go through closets about once every 3 months or so and I will do the same for the boys as they grow. H does his own but he does it about the same time I do. We clean out our junk drawer once a month - it is insane how quickly that thing fills up!

What will your children do or what do you want them to do?
I would love for Aria to be a band geek like me, and to play softball. I'll encourage her to do whatever she wants though, as long as she's involved in something.

Some new shorts. [its been literally 5 years since I bought shorts, and 4 since I wore them. Forcing myself into shorts is part of my attempt to never let my body image issues affect Aria.]

This could be very, very long. I grew up on a farm! Me - 4-H, Cheerleading, Horseback riding (Rodeos/Speed/Barrel racing), fast pitch softball, volleyball (hated it), basketball (hated it) Our children - 4-H and anything that interests them...my parents let us try all the sports we wanted to during grade school and whatever we loved, we did it outside of the school for more competition
4. What is the last thing you purchased for YOU? DH actually just took me shopping, so - a couple pairs of shorts, jeans, tank tops, flip flops and t-shirts - before that, it's been like 2 years

2. What is your favorite meal to cook in a time crunch? Usually in a time crunch we eat out, but let me think..... I suppose a bowl of cereal doesn't count. Probably scrambled eggs with cheese, ham and hash browns... that's usually pretty quick.
3. What did you participate in as a child? What will your children do or what do you want them to do? Soccer, T-Ball/Softball, Tennis, Volleyball, Swimming Lessons, Piano lessons, Girl Scouts.... We are hoping our DD shows interest in volleyball since we both LOVE volleyball. Other than that, we will see what she wants to do.
4. What is the last thing you purchased for YOU? I just got 3 cookbooks at a garage sale that I was thinking about buying at the store. They were only $0.75 each, so I got them for a steal.
5. How often do you purge your home? Closets, etc.? Not often enough, but I did just clean out our mud room/laundry room this morning and it felt great. I'm in the mood to do more.... I'll see what DD allows me to get done today.

Piano lessons. Swimming. Those were my biggies.My piano lessons were ALWAYS scheduled for 9am Saturday (through high school). At first I hated it, then I came to love it, and now I'm so grateful I can play, and it's the way I de-stress at the end of a long day. I also rowed in college, and would like for DS to get into that at a younger age.

I bought a black dress from the JCrew outlet online. Everything is 50% off there today, fyi.

Once per season when I'm in the mood. I actually did it last night!

3. I only ever did piano lessons/guitar lessons. I was a cheerleader for flag football in 5th grade b/c I wanted the pom poms, but got in trouble for being to negative. (I.E. why am I going to cheer for them? They are just going to lose anyway??)
