wonder week + heat wave = cranks!

I know a lot of mommas have complained about cooler wet summers. can you send some of your weather this way?

I know the desert mommas have it even worse, but it was 104 here yesterday and is supposed to be just under/over 110 until next Thursday.

we have AC but no vents into DD's room so I have th ePNP in our room for naps, but she's not used to it and yesterday was a b^tch for napping.

crossing fingers today goes better because this with the fussiness from the wonder week we seem to be going through and my nerves are getting raw from the crying. she normally goes right down for her 2 morning naps. yesterday was a 30-60 minutes cry fest. :-(

    I hate summer with a firey passion. It's humid as shiit here, and like 105 degrees. My kid loves to be out and about, and it makes it nearly impossible to take him out.

    And this wonder week can suck a big one. Tantrums and crying all day for going on 10 days. And no naps, and no solid food. When will this end?!

    I'm staying inside. It was 117 here yesterday and expected to be just as hot each day through Monday. Last night I did take DS to the store with me to return something, but we didn't go till 7pm. He's been ok with naps but yesterday DH woke him up an hour into his morning nap because he thought he was fully awake. That meant cranky baby until his afternoon nap. Ugh.

    We'll most likely stay in this weekend. It's supposed to be over 100 everyday until the 4th. Gross. I might go hiking to a cave with my family while DH is at work. Unless it is too hot to live then we won't.

    Yes. DD is always, "so what are we gonna do today mom? Where are we going? " ugh. It's high 80s here and I HATE it. Eff this heat wave. Eff this wonder "week". Eff teething. :::stomping feet:::
