So, my hair is a lot to handle. It's pretty curly and I just want to cut it all off...but I'm really insecure about how round my face is/how huge my shoulders are. So, here's what I look like (the last picture, I'm 33 weeks KU, to be fair - the only pictures I have of my full upper body are with the guys).

And this is what I'm thinking about doing:

I love it, but I'm afraid my shoulders will look huge and I'll look even bigger than I currently look (because my hair hides them now, for the most part). I need your honest opinion.
Also, not the hair color.

Re: Tell me the truth.
That being said, I think the shorter cut will look great on you. If you have a great stylist, he/she will be able to subtly customize the cut to accentuate your features the right way.
But when I've had my hair that short I have to straighten it every time I wash it. I love having that cut when my hair is straight! I just don't like how it looks on me that short and curly and I also get self conscious about my chubby face. That might not be your experience at all and you may love it short and curly. Just something to think about. With hair I figure go for it, it will grow back.
You'll never know how it looks until you try it. Hair grows back!
I've got pretty massive shoulders too. I always get the "are you a swimmer" or my favorite "your sons will be line backers if they get your shoulders". Nice. Anyway-
I feel ya. BUT: I chopped my hair off from over mid-back to about that short and LOVED IT! I say go for it!
I don't think hair does anything to mask shoulders, for what it's worth. And you look great anyway! I'm a chop it off-er as well. I let mine grow long and then cut it off dramatically every two years (my hair grows fast.)
And I'm built like a brick sh!t house.
Do it do it do it! That is super cute and I can totally see it working on you! It will bring attention up to your face, actually minimizing your self conscious area of your shoulders.
I do agree with the others who mentioned the downside of not having the curly option, so if you have time to straighten it every day then I say go for it. Maybe you can put in a relaxer or something? Doesn't that help release curls?
