Hi ladies, Ok at about 3 months post partum a TON of my hair fell out and it was mainly around the hairline. It started growing back right after it fell out, but it is growing so SLOW. Basically, it is still above eyebrow level and sometimes much shorter (like an inch). It is at a weird length where it looks like I cut super short bangs or something. My regular hair is growing fine and I have trimmed it several times, but this new hair doesn't seem to want to grow. I'm thinking it should be about 3-4 inches by now as it fell out last fall, but it definitely isn't there.
Has anyone else experienced this? Will it ever grow normal LOL? TIA!
Re: NBR: Post partum hair loss
Just make sure that you are having a healthy, well rounded diet and then you don't need to worry much. Hair can sometimes be a reflection of what is going on inside of your body. If you are eating well, then just give it time and it will grow back.

Seconding this suggestion. Hair loss can be a normal occurrence post pregnancy, but it can also be a sign of a thyroid imbalance, and post pregnancy is a common time for a thyroid problem to show up. Do you notice any thinning at the outer edges of your eyebrows? Are you more tired than usual or having a hard time losing pp weight? If you are noticing any of those additional symptoms, you should get your thyroid tested.
If you are not already, start taking prenatal vitamins. My dermatologist also suggested I take biotin supplements to encourage my hair to grow.
