    My son just went to one this week after the mucous in his poops did not clear up after a milk protein free diet for me and a new formula. (He takes both bm and formula.) The dr examined him, suggested I eliminate soy, and is going to follow him now in addition to our ped (who recommended we see the gastro) until the tummy issues are resolved. No special tests in our case...

    Good to know ladies thank u..I think ped. Sending us.preventively due to reflux and not wanting to eat..won't give prevacid without seeing GI..zantac not helping

    I just took my LO today due to reflex. She's been on Zantac for almost 3 weeks and doesn't seem to be helping. She too doesn't want to eat unless she's asleep, tired, or if really hungry will take some. Im constantly feeding her since she takes small amounts at a time.

    I'm actually crying as I type this since I'm extremely frustrated and don't know what to do.

    The specialist today referred her to some tests although he didn't really think they were needed bc he thinks she's fine. He dint change her meds so we'll see what happens after a couple of these tests are done.

    Please let me know what your LO's symptoms are. I just want to see if they have similar symptoms.
