I am a massage therapist, this is something I just do on the weekends. A coworker mentioned that she had a gig at a school offering chair massage to the staff (not students lol)
i would like to approach a few schools about this. It's something that I would do once a month during school hours. They provide a small space for me to work in. The teachers and staff who want a massage sign up ahead of time. They pay $1/min ...a typical chair massage does not exceed 15 minutes and you are fully clothed the entire time. It's great because its free for the school and its a great perk for the staff and very affordable in comparison to a massage at a spa.
I have done this for an insurance company. The employees just came down on their lunch break and it was a big hit. My list was full every month!
who would you suggest that I approach? The superintendent, principal? Thank you for any advice!
Re: Question for teachers and other school employees
This.
While a massage during school hours sounds fabulous I just can't see this ever happening. And like she said, I need to work at that school!! Lol
