Seeking reassurance re weight estimates

I know I always tell other posters that weight estimates are just estimates and not to be too worried... And now I'm getting a little worried!

Growth scan today estimates our girls are 3,15 and 4,8 at nearly 34w. This is a pretty minimal weight gain from 2 weeks ago (6 and 8 oz respectively). MFM seemed fine, but they seem so small to me and my belly has grown a ton in the past 2 weeks. Plus, I'll be induced at 36w, so they don't have a ton more growing time

Experiences? Slaps upside the head? Words of wisdom?

I don't have any experience, but I did want to say congrats on making it to almost 34 weeks after all of your bedrest.

If your MFM isn't concerned, I'd try to take some comfort in that.

I want to say ours were right around 4lbs at 34w. I remember that ours were diagnosed with IUGR at that point, not because of their total weight, but because their abdominal circs and femur lengths were in the first and second percentiles. I was put on bed rest and met with a dietitian for diet help. My boys were born at 36w1d when baby a's water broke. They were just shy of five pounds and avoided the NICU all together. At discharge they were 4.5 lbs and completely healthy.

My MFM was actually pretty laid back about the whole thing, it was my OB that put me on BR. I know it is so stressful, but your MFM has done this hundreds of times and is the best indicator for how serious a situation really is. Sending some fattening baby vibes your way!!

Ours were measuring almost exactly that the day my doctor said it was time to deliver. They were born at 4.8lbs and 5.0 even. This was at 34.5 BTW. Chin up momma!

I had a BPP done the Friday before the Sunday I delivered my boys at 38w5d... (so only 2 days between the estimate and delivery) - the estimates were VERY low, can't remember exactly but I think they were saying high 5 pounders and both boys were over 7 pounds.

Like other posters, I wouldn't worry if your MFM isn't worried.

Thank you! This is essentially us and makes me feel better . I'm eager to meet my peanuts in a little over 2 weeks!

Thank you all! I'm totally amazed to be talking induction after PTL and 8+ weeks of hospital bed rest! This board has been amazing!

I know it is so easy for me to sit here and tell you not to worry, but I was a complete wreck and have absolutely no room to talk! Those two weeks were so difficult. I'm so glad my experience gave you a little comfort. Hoping these next two weeks are uneventful and fly by!

I know the time is flying by (it may not seem like it now but I hardly remember being pregnant after 3 months with outside twins) and there are still things to worry about (even if you don't need to) so I just wanted to wish you all the best of fatty healthy baby vibes I could before you welcome your sweet little ladies in two weeks!

I'm sending you baby fattening vibes! I had an opposite experience than some people here. I was told that both babies were estimated at over 6lb each. DS was 5lb5oz and DD was 4lb14oz at 35w5d.

I still wouldn't be too worried. So long as everyone is ok with their weights, just focus on getting to the induction date!

The more squashed they are in there, the harder they are to measure, too. Just two more weeks? Congrats on making it this far sounds like your little girls are cooking just fine.
