Spit up related to teething?

LO has been having small spit up incidents for about a week. Today I feel a bottom tooth. Could they be related?

    We just finished our six month appointment and the doctor said the extra spit up we are seeing could be related to extra drooling and the fact that she is shoving her hand in her mouth.
