Formula feeders....

For those moms who started off feeding formula how did you dry your milk up?

I nursed Camden for 7 months and drying up was HEEELL!!!
Is it any different if you don't nurse at all and do you have any tips?

My OB recommended that I not nurse this baby since they believe I have an auto immune disease and want to do all the tests as soon as this baby is born. I started out nursing both boys and my supply dried up on its own with Cortlandt at 4 months and it wasn't really painful but it was completely different with Camden!

    With Nathaniel my milk never came in, so I never had to dry up. I think I leaked colostrum twice. Like drops of it.

    With Veronica, I only had a little milk come in. I put cold cabbage leaves over my boobs for three days, changing them as they wilted and never had any engorging or anything. Little bit of pain, but I just popped a Tylenol for that and it was fine.
