AW: 12 week u/s

Since you ladies were so sweet after I freaked out yesterday about the package delivery I got for the baby I lost, I thought I should update you with good news today:
I had my 12 week u/s and everything looks good, he/she is measuring slightly ahead at 12w2d 
:) I think I'm still in disbelief that everything is ok this time around... I wonder when I will finally feel more comfortable with it and with telling the world!
The technician was a bit of a B. She chastized me for coming in for a 12 week u/s saying they see the best things at the scheduled u/s times like 20 weeks and whatever. I said "this is around the time I had my loss last time" which usually helps them understand but she just kept saying how much more you can see at the 20 week one.
She also gave me a crazy hard time cuz I couldn't drink the required water (or more specificially, I tried but I threw up over 10 times this morning including my whole breakfast). She kept saying "well if you had started drinking earlier"... lady it's not about time, I have morning sickness and throw up most mornings!
Anyway overall I'm really happy but we didn't get to see the bean for long... and couldn't really get great views cuz of the water issue, but we did see a heartbeat of about 150 and she said everything looked normal so I'm definitely so grateful.
Thanks for all your wishes yesterday - I couldn't have gotten through last night without knowing you ladies were pulling for me! Hoping you all have great upcoming appts too.

YAY!!! So glad you had a wonderful u/s!!
(clearly I'm slow with wishing people good luck...I posted right before you posted this with good luck post! I did the same thing to peanut last time she had an u/s! I'm jealous of you ladies getting appointments this early in the morning!)

alinafed, so happy to hear that your u/s was great, despite your awful tech. I would seriously be tempted to b!tch slap her with all of those nasty comments. But anyway, the good news is that it was a good news despite the tech! Yay!

It seems like its hard to get a good combination of OB and tech. I didn't like my last OB but the tech was awesome. I switched doctors and now my OB is amazing and the tech is 'meh'.
Glad to hear you has a good appointment overall though! Yay!
