I'm on day 5 in the hospital. Doing a little better, and hope to be discharged today. I'm nervous that not getting IV Reglan and trying to resume some normalcy may put me back here. Any advice appreciated. I plan to ask if a pump would be more effective if it continues to be bad. I really don't want to bounce in out of the hospital. I terribly miss my DD.

Don't ever try to 'tough it out'....if you feel yourself getting dehydrated or weak and need to go to the ER just go. Better to stay on top of this then let it cause further complications.
Best of luck to you! There is an end in sight! Praying it goes away sooner rather then later!

Definitely talk to your OB about, they should better informed about how to managed it than the ER Dr's. The best non-medical advice I have is just make sure you are doing your best to stay hydrated and getting protein - which is obviously easier said than done. Have you tried anything like Ensure or meal replacement drinks? They'd be absorded faster than solids so even if you're throwing up, you might get more benefits from it.
I also highly recommend the HG board on babycenter, you might be able to find some better advice and information there.
Good luck and hang in there!
All of this. I am drinking a meal replacement shake (shakeology) and I am finding it is helping me. On my bad days I will even drink two b/c its better then getting nothing.
There is also a FB support group you can visit that has a LOT of girls who have gone through all extremes of having HG and are very helpful.
EDIT: link wont work, look up Hyperemeses Gravidarum Sufferers and Survivors! on FB. Closed group but they are quick to accept new members
